Australian beats Ivashka to reach last eight in Austria
Alex de Minaur has continued his impressive form in Vienna, reaching the quarter-finals of the Erste Bank Open with a straight-sets win over Ilya Ivashka.
The 23-year-old Australian, seeded eighth, controlled the match from the outset, breaking Ivashka's serve twice in the opening set to take it 6-1.
Ivashka, ranked 73rd in the world, fought back in the second set, but De Minaur was too strong, breaking the Belarusian's serve once again to seal a 6-4 victory.
