Danish club Odense BK marks 100 anniversary today
Clubs third kit has been released today by Hummel
Danish club Odense Boldklub commonly known as Odense BK or OB was founded on 12 July 1899 and therefore marks their 100 anniversary today.
The club was founded as a cricket club, and the football department was not created until 1902. The football club quickly became one of the most successful in Denmark, winning its first Danish championship in 1917. Odense Boldklub has won the Danish championship six times and the Danish Cup five times. The club has also participated in several European competitions, including the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Europa League.
To celebrate the 100 years various events have been planned by the club. The first event was the release of the clubs third kit for the 2022/23 season.
Limited edition Hummel kit released
Odense BK has released a limited edition third kit in collaboration with Hummel. The kit is a modern take on the club's classic red and white stripes, with a sublimated print of the Odense cityscape. The kit is made from lightweight and breathable material, and it features the Hummel logo on the chest and the Odense BK logo on the sleeve.
The kit is available for pre-order now, and it will be worn by the team for the first time in the club's 100th anniversary match against AGF on 24 July.
