Former coach of Natus Vincere: "Unfortunately, we were unable to assemble a working roster due to many factors"
What happened?
Former Natus Vincere coach Andrey "B1ad3" Gorodenskiy has spoken out about the team's struggles in the past year, saying that they were unable to assemble a working roster due to many factors.
Natus Vincere has been one of the most successful teams in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive history, but they have struggled in recent months, failing to win a major tournament since ESL One Cologne 2021.
B1ad3 left Natus Vincere in August 2022, and he has since been replaced by Amiran "Ami" Rekhviashvili.
What B1ad3 said
"Unfortunately, we were unable to assemble a working roster due to many factors," B1ad3 said in a statement on Twitter.
"We tried different players and different combinations, but we couldn't find the right mix of players who could work together and win consistently."
"I would like to thank the players for their hard work and dedication, and I wish them all the best in the future."
What's next for Natus Vincere?
It is unclear what the future holds for Natus Vincere, but they will be hoping to return to their former glory under new coach Ami.
The team will be competing in the BLAST Premier Spring Groups 2023, which starts on January 19th.
