Fire on the M-11 highway

On January 18, at 04:55 a.m., a fire broke out on the 15th kilometer of the M-11 "Neva" highway. A detached two-axle Ural truck with a semi-trailer caught fire. The fire spread to an area of about 30 square meters.

The victim

The driver, a 45-year-old man, managed to get out of the truck on his own. He was taken to a hospital in a moderate condition. According to preliminary data, the man received burns to his face, arms, and legs.

Firefighting

The fire was extinguished by 05:25 a.m. 12 rescuers and 3 pieces of equipment from the Russian Emergencies Ministry were involved in the extinguishing.

Conclusions

The cause of the fire is being established. The traffic on the highway is not obstructed. The circumstances of the incident are being clarified.
