Emergency situation at a well in the Kalininsky district of Vyborg taken under control by the prosecutor's office

The incident occurred on July 27 at about 14:00 near the village of Roshchino.

According to preliminary data, during drilling work at a depth of about 70 meters, a powerful stream of water and sand gushed out of the well. As a result, the drilling rig collapsed, and the employees managed to get out on their own.

The prosecutor's office of the Kalininsky district of Vyborg organized an inspection to establish all the circumstances of the incident and assess the damage caused.

The inspection will involve specialists from the relevant supervisory authorities. The prosecutor's office will also check the compliance of the work carried out with the requirements of the legislation on industrial safety.

Based on the results of the inspection, a procedural decision will be made.
