Fernando Rodriguez: Nobody Believes in Me in a Fight with Kudryashov, This Motivates Me
Kudryashov vs. Rodriguez Set for December
Unbeaten Russian boxer Aleksei Kudryashov (21-1, 10 KOs) will face Brazilian challenger Fernando Rodriguez (12-1-1, 6 KOs) on December 17 in Moscow, Russia.
Challenger Not Shrouded by Doubt
Despite being a significant underdog, Rodriguez is not deterred. “Nobody believes in me in this fight, and that motivates me more. I know I am the underdog, but I am going to prove everyone wrong. I am going to shock the world.”
Experienced Opponent
Kudryashov is a formidable opponent with a wealth of experience. He is a former WBO cruiserweight champion and has fought some of the best fighters in the division, including Mairis Briedis and Yuniel Dorticos.
Rodriguez is aware of the challenge ahead of him, but he is confident in his abilities. “I know Kudryashov is a tough opponent, but I am not afraid of him. I have been training hard for this fight, and I am ready to give it my all. I am going to win this fight and become the new WBO cruiserweight champion.”
Path to Success
Rodriguez’s journey to a title fight has not been without its challenges. He suffered his first defeat in his last fight against Yuniel Dorticos, a former unified cruiserweight champion. Rodriguez was knocked out in the tenth round.
Despite the setback, Rodriguez remains optimistic. “I learned a lot from my fight with Dorticos,” he said. “I made some mistakes, but I am still learning and improving. I am confident that I can beat Kudryashov and become the new WBO cruiserweight champion.”
