Fernando Rodriguez: Nobody Believes in Me in the Fight With Kudryashov, It Motivates Me
Unbeaten Cuban heavyweight prospect Fernando Rodriguez will face his toughest test to date when he takes on unbeaten Russian Dmitry Kudryashov on the undercard of Devin Haney vs. George Kambosos Jr. on June 4 in Australia.
Rodriguez is a highly skilled boxer with a good jab and footwork, but he has yet to face an opponent of Kudryashov's caliber. Kudryashov is a big puncher with a lot of experience, and he will be looking to make a statement against Rodriguez.
Rodriguez is confident that he can upset Kudryashov and make a name for himself on the world stage.
"Nobody believes in me in this fight," Rodriguez said. "But that's what motivates me. I'm going to go out there and prove to everyone that I'm a real contender."
