Foxes down Leicester as Wood strikes twice to earn Forest victory
Nottingham Forest moved out of the Premier League relegation zone with a 2-0 victory over Leicester City courtesy of a Brennan Johnson penalty and a late strike from substitute Sam Surridge.
Taiwo Awoniyi missed a great chance early on but made amends by winning the spot-kick from which Johnson opened the scoring.
The Foxes piled on the pressure for an equaliser but Wood's predatory header wrapped things up in the 84th minute as Steve Cooper's side secured a vital three points.
The defeat leaves Leicester 19th in the table, with just one victory from their opening seven matches.
