Haaland reportedly in talks with Manchester City
The Norwegian striker is said to be close to joining the Premier League champions
Haaland has been one of the most sought-after players in world football since bursting onto the scene with Borussia Dortmund in 2019.
The 21-year-old has scored 85 goals in 89 appearances for the German club, and his performances have attracted the attention of some of the biggest clubs in Europe.
Manchester City are now reportedly in pole position to sign Haaland, with reports suggesting that a deal could be completed in the coming weeks.
The Premier League champions are said to be willing to pay a fee of around £75 million for Haaland, and they are also prepared to offer him a salary of around £500,000 per week.
Haaland is seen as the ideal replacement for Sergio Aguero, who left Manchester City at the end of last season.
The Norwegian is a clinical finisher, and he is also good at creating chances for his teammates.
If Haaland does join Manchester City, he will be expected to make an immediate impact.
The Premier League champions are looking to win their fifth title in six years, and Haaland will be hoping to help them achieve that goal.
