Investment of Kaluga companies in the Russian cloud software market has doubled.
Kaluga business structures actively use domestic IT developments, the most popular area is cloud services. The growth compared to last year was 107%.
The regional Ministry of Economic Development specifies that the volume of investments in cloud solutions in the Kaluga region in the first six months of 2023 amounted to 456 million rubles, which is 240 million rubles more than in the same period last year. The demand for cloud services is due to the introduction of new IT solutions within the framework of digital transformation.
The most popular cloud services in the Kaluga region are:

- Cloud services for sending e-mail
- Cloud services for organizing video conferencing
- Cloud services for call-centres
According to experts, in the future, the demand for cloud services in the Kaluga region will only grow. This is due both to the continuous development of IT technologies and to the support of the federal authorities, interested in companies transferring to domestic IT solutions.
