Hull City Relegated to Championship

The Premier League has released the final standings for the 2016/17 season, with Chelsea emerging as champions. The Blues secured the title with a 1-0 victory over West Bromwich Albion on the final day of the campaign, finishing seven points ahead of Tottenham Hotspur. Antonio Conte's side lost just four games all season and conceded the fewest goals (23) in the league. Eden Hazard was named the PFA Players' Player of the Year after a standout season, scoring 16 goals and providing 15 assists.

Tottenham finished second despite winning their last six matches of the season. Mauricio Pochettino's side will now play in the Champions League qualifiers next season. Manchester City finished third, while Liverpool and Arsenal rounded out the top four. Manchester United finished sixth, missing out on Champions League qualification. Everton, Leicester City, Burnley, and Southampton finished in the top 10.

At the bottom of the table, Hull City were relegated to the Championship after finishing 20th. The Tigers won just three games all season and finished with the worst goal difference (-41) in the league. Middlesbrough and Sunderland were also relegated.

The Premier League will now take a break before the start of the 2017/18 season on August 12th. Chelsea will be aiming to defend their title, while Tottenham, Manchester City, and Liverpool will be looking to challenge them for the trophy.
