Six inmates escape from prison colony in Lipetsk
On Sunday, six prisoners escaped from a prison colony in the city of Lipetsk, Russia. On Monday, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation opened a criminal case into the incident.
Escape and investigation
According to preliminary data, the inmates escaped from the Lipetsk colony-settlement No. 3. The escape was discovered during a morning roll call.
Law enforcement agencies are currently searching for the fugitives. The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation has opened a criminal case under Part 2 of Article 313 of the Criminal Code ("Escape from Places of Deprivation of Liberty Committed by a Group of Persons by Prior Agreement").

- Alexander Alexandrovich Mavrin, born in 1977, serving time for murder
- Alexander Sergeyevich Kuznetsov, born in 1980, serving time for robbery
- Denis Vladimirovich Korolev, born in 1989, serving time for theft
- Sergei Alexandrovich Ryabov, born in 1975, serving time for robbery
- Andrei Vladimirovich Smirnov, born in 1979, serving time for robbery
- Evgeny Vladimirovich Fokin, born in 1984, serving time for murder
According to the investigation, all the fugitives are dangerous and may be armed. The public is advised to exercise caution and contact law enforcement agencies if they see any suspicious individuals.
