StaStavropol wrestler won a prize at the World Championship in Kazakhstan
The wrestler from Stavropol won a bronze medal at the World Championship in Greco-Roman wrestling among juniors, which was held in Kazakhstan.
As part of the Russian national team, Magomed Deberdiev competed in the weight category up to 97 kg.
The athlete from Stavropol lost in the semifinals to the representative of Iran, and in the fight for the bronze, he confidently defeated the representative of Kazakhstan.
This is the first medal of the Russian national team at the world championship in the Greco-Roman wrestling tournament.
The Stavropol wrestler is a pupil of the Stavropol Sports School No. 11 and the regional center for sports training of the highest achievements. Currently, he is a student of the Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports of Stavropol State Agrarian University.
