Apparent rockfall caused accident
A train with dozens of passengers derailed in Norway on Monday, killing one person and injuring several others, police said. The accident occurred near the Støren station, about 50 kilometers (30 miles) south of Trondheim, Norway's third-largest city.

The train was carrying about 70 passengers when it derailed at around 4:45 a.m. local time. The cause of the accident is still under investigation, but police said it appears to have been caused by a rockfall.
Emergency responders are on the scene and are working to free the passengers who are still trapped in the wreckage. The injured passengers have been taken to nearby hospitals for treatment.
The accident has caused significant disruption to train traffic in the area. The Støren station has been closed and trains are being rerouted.
The Norwegian Railway Directorate is investigating the accident and will release a report on the cause of the derailment.
