Udinese extended their winning streak to seven games by beating Salernitana 3-1 away and climbing to fifth place in the Serie A standings. The Zebrette have now won seven games in a row, their best run in the top flight since December 2010. They are also unbeaten in their last 11 matches in all competitions (W7 D4). Udinese took the lead against Salernitana through Gerard Deulofeu in the 39th minute. The Spaniard has now scored in each of his last three games for the Zebrette. Salernitana equalised through Tonny Vilhena in the 70th minute, but Udinese quickly regained the lead through Beto in the 74th minute. Isaac Success made it 3-1 in the 90th minute to seal the victory for the Zebrette. Udinese's victory was marred by the sending-off of Salernitana's Leonardo Capezzi in the 58th minute. The defender was shown a red card for a foul on Deulofeu. Udinese's win over Salernitana was their first away win in Serie A since April.
