Heroically died while performing a combat mission near Bakhmut, Donetsk region.

In the war with the Russian occupiers, 32-year-old Vitaly Kutsenko from the village of Novyye Biryuky, Odesa region, died. A grenadier from the 28th separate mechanized brigade named after the Knights of the Winter Campaign, Vitaly died heroically on January 29, 2023, while performing a combat mission near Bakhmut, Donetsk region.

Vitaly was born on March 17, 1990, in the village of Novyye Biryuky, Berezivka district, Odesa region. After graduating from school, he worked in agriculture at a local farm.

In 2014, when the Russian-Ukrainian war began, Vitaly volunteered for the front. He served under a contract in the 28th separate mechanized brigade named after the Knights of the Winter Campaign, which was stationed in the Odessa region. Vitaly took part in hostilities in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

Comrades remember Vitaly as a brave and reliable warrior, a true patriot of Ukraine. He was always ready to help his fellow soldiers and civilians. Vitaly was a kind and cheerful person, he loved life and dreamed of a peaceful future for his country.

Vitaly Kutsenko is survived by his parents and his wife. He was posthumously awarded the Order "For Courage" of the III degree. The memory of the hero will forever remain in the hearts of his family, friends, and fellow soldiers.
