Polesie Zhytomyr Pulled Level with Kolos Kovalivka in the Ukrainian Premier League

On Saturday, November 12th, 2022, FC Polesie Zhytomyr hosted FC Kolos Kovalivka at the Kolos Stadium in Kovalivka, Ukraine. After a goalless first half, the visitors took the lead early in the second half through a goal from Denys Bezborodko in the 52nd minute.

Undeterred, Polesie fought back and were rewarded in the 70th minute when Serhiy Polegenko fired home a superb equalizer. The goal sparked wild celebrations among the home fans and gave Polesie a valuable point in their battle against relegation.
