SKA-Khabarovsk Dominates Chernomorets in 6-1 Victory
On Saturday, SKA-Khabarovsk put on a dominant performance at home, crushing Chernomorets 6-1. The victory extends SKA-Khabarovsk's unbeaten streak to four games and moves them up to sixth place in the FNL standings.
SKA-Khabarovsk took control of the match from the start, with Viktor Drachun opening the scoring in the 10th minute. Cherno More equalised through Vladimir Obukhov in the 25th minute, but SKA-Khabarovsk regained the lead just before half-time through Aleksandr Rudenko.
The second half was all SKA-Khabarovsk, with the hosts scoring four more goals. Drachun completed his brace in the 55th minute, before Evgeny Reutov, Nikita Glushkov, and Kirill Pogrebnyak added further goals to seal the emphatic victory.
SKA-Khabarovsk Continues Impressive Run
SKA-Khabarovsk's victory over Chernomorets continues their impressive run of form. The Khabarovsk-based club have now won four consecutive matches in all competitions and are unbeaten in their last six outings.
This run of form has seen SKA-Khabarovsk move up to sixth place in the FNL standings. The club is now just three points behind second-placed Yenisey Krasnoyarsk and four points behind leaders Baltika Kaliningrad.
SKA-Khabarovsk will be looking to continue their impressive run of form when they travel to face Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk on Tuesday.
Chernomorets' Struggles Continue
Chernomorets' defeat to SKA-Khabarovsk extends their winless run to four matches in all competitions. The Novorossiysk-based club have now lost three of their last four matches and are winless in their last five away matches.
This poor run of form has seen Chernomorets drop to 15th place in the FNL standings. The club is now just four points above the relegation zone.
Chernomorets will be looking to turn their form around when they host Krasnodar-2 on Tuesday.
