‘Spider-Man 4’: Tom Holland Reveals When Filming Will Begin
‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ star Tom Holland has revealed when filming for ‘Spider-Man 4’ is set to begin.
According to Holland, the fourth installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s ‘Spider-Man’ franchise is expected to start production in 2024.
In a recent interview with Variety, Holland said, “I’m really excited to see what we do next with the character. I think we have a lot of exciting stories to tell, and I can’t wait to get started on the next chapter.”
Holland’s comments come after months of speculation about the future of the ‘Spider-Man’ franchise. Following the massive success of ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home,’ which became the highest-grossing film of 2021, fans have been eagerly awaiting news about the next installment.
While plot details for ‘Spider-Man 4’ are still under wraps, Holland has hinted that the film will explore Peter Parker’s life after the events of ‘No Way Home.’
“I think we’re going to be seeing a very different Peter Parker in the next film,” Holland said. “He’s going to be more mature, more responsible, and more in control of his powers.”
Holland also expressed his excitement to work with director Jon Watts again, who has helmed all three previous ‘Spider-Man’ films.
“Jon is a great director and he really understands the character,” Holland said. “I’m really looking forward to working with him again on the next film.”
‘Spider-Man 4’ is expected to be released in theaters in 2025.
